There are two main roads that intersect in Clayton: I-56 runs east to west and turns briefly into I-56/64 before crossing into Oklahoma and I-64/87 which connects to the west with I-25.
Airports
Just 2 miles east of Clayton lies the Clayton Municipal Airpark.
