Basic Directions

Take Highway 48 north out of Ruidoso for nine miles to Highway 37. Turn left onto Highway 37 and proceed to Forest Service Road 107. Turn left and follow Forest Service 107 past Bonito Lake. Forest Service Trail 36 (Big Bonito Trail) runs 4.6 miles around the tributary. Forest Service Trail 37 (Little Bonito Trail) runs 1.4 miles and begins at the junction of Forest Service Trail 36.
