Description

Turn south on FR540 for 11.4 miles. After the graveled road ends, continue south onto FR3008 for 1.1 miles to the Devil’s Den Trailhead.

The trail takes you through the 2001 Devil’s Den Wildfire ignited by lightning. The trail leads to a scenic vista of Dog Canyon and a historic miner’s log shelter (approximately 1.5 miles). The District Boundary is approximately .3 miles from the log shelter.
