Description
Fishing for walleye was good for anglers trolling shad raps through the trees in 12-to-14 feet of water. They were fishing the Horse Shoe Bend area. Others did well deep trolling on the main lake with deep little rippers at 25-to-30 feet. The better quality fish came from the deeper water. Fishing was good for anglers using top water lures for white bass and black bass. Pop Rs, Ricos, Zara Spooks and Tiny Torpedoes were all productive. Pitching and flipping worms in the brush also worked well for anglers fishing for black bass. Crappie fishing was good during the night time hours for anglers using minnows. Fishing for catfish was fair for anglers using shrimp, cut bait and liver. The best reports for walleye, white bass and crappie have been from anglers fishing at night.
