Easy and scenic Terry Flat Loop takes you through some wonderful alpine forests and high mountain meadows on the flanks of Arizona's third highest mountain. The ride is especially attractive in Fall when the aspen are aglow. The ride follows a rough forest service road. Several spur routes branch off the main loop.
.To make this a much more challenging ride, consider parking at the beginning of FS 56 and ride it up 4.5 miles to the trailhead. This adds 1,400 of elevation gain.
