Description

The Silver City Museum is housed in a restored 1881 Mansard/Italianate style house built by retired silver miner H.B Ailman. The house itself has been a residence, a boarding house and a fire station until finally being renovated by the museum and populated with local interest pieces. The museum houses approximately 20,000 objects related to the history and people of southwest New Mexico.
