Description
The trail begins at the south side of the Rio Chama. There are signs guiding into the Wilderness Boundary.
The bottom of the trail at the north portion is flat sage country for the first two miles. The other 2.3 miles go through Ponderosa Pine to Mixed Conifer timber type. The last portion has some steep areas as it climbs the canyon.
