Basic Directions
This interior trail connects the Los Pinos Trail with the Vacas Trail at about 2.6 miles. The trail is along Anastacio Creek with the trail occasionally entering spruce type.
Description
The trail climbs 2,040 feet in 3.1 miles to the top and levels off at the junction of the Anastacio Trail. From this junction to the San Pedro Parks covers a distance of 2.5 miles which is the trail destination but also is a junction with other trails. Vegetation is mixed conifer, aspen, shrubs and grasses. Trail is mostly through spruce occasional openings. Water is abundant throughout the trail. The San Pedro Parks is a large meadow surrounded by dense stands of spruce.
