Description

Kit Carson Home and Museum is the home of the famous trapper, frontiersman, Indian Agent and Brigadier General, Kit Carson.

The Museum's friendly and knowledgeable staff is enthusiastic in its mission to provide an historical perspective of early American movement West from the Revolution through industrialization. The house provides a fascinating look at the way these frontier settlers lived and worked.
