  • Los Alamos

Los Alamos, best known for the atomic research that occurred here during the 1940s, is still a hotbed of laboratory and scientific work but this 'atomic city' still has much to offer the outdoor recreationalist. Surrounded to the north and east by the Santa Fe National Forest and to the south by the Bandelier National Monument, Los Alamos is a lively community filled with active residents.

  • Raton

Raton is a jewel of a New Mexican town, nestled at an elevation of 6600 feet at the foot of the Rocky Mountains on the Colorado/New Mexico border. The town is a small mountain outpost that is a dramatic contrast from other areas of northeastern New Mexico. Raton offers Outdoor enthusiasts a good variety of year-round recreational activities to fill their days.

  • Santa Fe

Santa Fe, the capital of New Mexico, is the quintessential southwestern town for art, culture and history. Dominated by adobe buildings and pueblo style architecture, Santa Fe is home to hundreds of galleries, artisans and museums all of which are heavily influenced by the beauty and immensity of the landscapes which surround town. Located in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and only a short distance from the Jemez & San Juan Mountain Ranges, Santa Fe is situated perfectly for prime recreational opportunity.

  • Santa Rosa

The small community of Santa Rosa is a natural oasis amidst the desert climate of northeastern New Mexico, situated along the banks of the Pecos River and well known for its natural lakes fed by subterranean rivers.

  • Tucumcari

Tucumari sits along the I-40 corridor and old US Route 66 and is better known for its billboards that span for hundreds of miles either side of town, luring tired travelers with promises of numerous and comfortable accommodations, than it is for its recreational opportunity. However, visitors who spend more than just a traveling night in the Tucumari area will find the area is ripe with good fishing and wildlife viewing venues.
