Las Vegas (NM) - Biking

Visitors to the Las Vegas area will find a plethora of mountain biking opportunity available in the Carson National Forest to the north of town. Gallinas Canyon and the Sipapu Ski Area both boast trail systems that allow for easy to challenging rides lasting from less than 1 hour to a full day in length. Bike trails here are primarily a combination of double track roads and single track that wind through the forests of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Visitors can check directly with one of the sporting goods stores in Las Vegas for more information on specific trails, their length and difficulty.
