Description

The trail starts at the eastern end at a junction with Dockweiler Trail 259 in a large boggy meadow. The trail proceeds northwest across the meadow, enters the forest, and climbs up a ridge on a series of switchbacks. It continues through the forest and drops into the Rito Perro drainage. This section of trail is steep and rocky. The trail crosses the Rito Perro and makes a short steep climb out of the drainage to the junction with Skyline Trail 251.

This trail does not recieve annual maintenance and is subject to frequent tree fall.
