Description

One of the most popular trout streams in the state. Paralleled by highway 518 along its entire length. Headwaters above Tres Ritos (Angostura and Alamitos Creek). Many campgrounds.

Fish species found on Rio Pueblo include Rainbow Trout and Rio Grande Cutthroat Trout.

Quality water section is above Comales Campground. Limit is 2 fish over 12 inches per day.
