Description

The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is an intriguing place to learn the story of the Atomic Age, from early conception, the Manhattan Project and the Cold War, to today's peaceful uses of nuclear technology. Permanent displays and changing special exhibits highlight the past, present, and future of all that is nuclear science and history. Tours of the Trinity Site at White Sands Missile Range (where the first atomic bomb was exploded) are available here.
