Description

The road itself is thirty miles of beautiful transition, as the surrounding land transforms from Chihuahuan Desert and its plains cholla cactus to the Guadalupe Escarpment and its limestone uplifts and stands of pine. But this is more than just a road you can offroad near. Pull off onto one of the less developed roads intersecting the byway, or onto one of the many trails, to explore further.
