Chama Population: 1,200
  Chama is a sleepy resort town located just a few miles from the Colorado Border and at the northern tip of the Jemez Mountains. Visitors to Chama are generally drawn to the area by its abundance of recreational options, including excellent fishing and hiking during the summer months and Nordic skiing and snowmobiling during the winter months.
     
Cimarron Population: 1,000
  Cimmaron is located along the historic Santa Fe, and sits on the quiet banks of the Cimmaron River amidst the thick timbered forests of the southern Rocky Mountains. Cimmaron offers a variety of recreational opportunities to its visitors, though it is best known for its proximity to Philmont Scout Ranch, the largest Boy Scouts of America camp in the nation.
     
Las Vegas (NM) Population: 14,000
  Las Vegas, New Mexico is the alter ego to the city sharing its same name in Nevada. Visitors to the New Mexican Las Vegas will find no casinos & bright lights, but rather a flourishing artist community along the Gallinas River, situated at the junction between the Rocky Mountains and the eastern plains. Due to its prime geographical location, Las Vegas offers its visitors a good amount of recreational opportunity, with options ranging from hiking and fishing to biking and skiing.
     
Los Alamos Population: 12,000
  Los Alamos, best known for the atomic research that occurred here during the 1940s, is still a hotbed of laboratory and scientific work but this 'atomic city' still has much to offer the outdoor recreationalist. Surrounded to the north and east by the Santa Fe National Forest and to the south by the Bandelier National Monument, Los Alamos is a lively community filled with active residents.
     
Raton Population: 7,200
  Raton is a jewel of a New Mexican town, nestled at an elevation of 6600 feet at the foot of the Rocky Mountains on the Colorado/New Mexico border. The town is a small mountain outpost that is a dramatic contrast from other areas of northeastern New Mexico. Raton offers Outdoor enthusiasts a good variety of year-round recreational activities to fill their days.
     
Santa Fe Population: 120,000
  Santa Fe, the capital of New Mexico, is the quintessential southwestern town for art, culture and history. Dominated by adobe buildings and pueblo style architecture, Santa Fe is home to hundreds of galleries, artisans and museums all of which are heavily influenced by the beauty and immensity of the landscapes which surround town. Located in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and only a short distance from the Jemez & San Juan Mountain Ranges, Santa Fe is situated perfectly for prime recreational opportunity.
