Albuquerque Population: 500,000
  Albuquerque, the largest city in New Mexico, is located at the heart of the Rio Grande Valley, nestled at the foot of the towering Sandia Mountain Range to the north. Containing over a third of the population of New Mexico, Albuquerque is the state center for education, commerce, trade and transportation and offers its visitors a genuine taste of life in the southwest.
     
Carrizozo Population: 1,000
  Carrizozo is a tiny little town in the middle of abundant recreational opportunity, situated in the valley between the Jicarilla Mountains, the Sierra Oscuro Mountains and the El Malpais lava flow. Located in close proximity to Valley of Fire National Recreation area and Three Rivers Petroglyphs, and surrounded by several mountain ranges, Carrizozo offers its visitors a glimpse into small town New Mexico while on the same token, feeding their craving for adventure.
     
Truth or Consequences Population: 7,000
  Truth or Consequences may have one of the most odd names of any New Mexico town. Early in the 1950's, radio show host Ralph Edwards challenged his many listeners around the United States to rename their town Truth or Consequences in exchange for exposure to the radio market audience. Residents of 'Hot Springs, NM' quickly voted to change the town's name to Truth or Consequences and the rest is history.
