Ruidoso - Fishing

Visitors to the Ruidoso area will find a plethora of lakes, creeks and streams brimming with Rainbow, Brown and Cutthroat Trout. Fishing on the lakes and streams of the Mescalaro Apache Reservation is also quite rewarding, though a separate tribal permit is required to fish these waters.
