Basic Directions
Pioneer Creek Road is accessible from the Red River Ski Area. Parking may be a problem. Take the road at the end of the parking lot. Approximately 60 yards up this road across the creek is the Pioneer Creek Road turnoff, Forest Road 485. It is used by both snowmobilers and skiers. In the summer trail can be used for hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking.
