Southeast New Mexico - Travel and Vacation Overview

South East New Mexico has been popularized in two very distinct ways. The first, focused more on popular culture, is the fame afforded to Roswell and the attraction of alien visitations to the surrounding areas. The second popular attraction, much different from the first, is the vast underground cave system found at Carlsbad. Both of these places draw large crowds of visitors, one looking for signs from the heavans and the other seeking them from below the surface.
