Description
Within the many canyons of Canyon De Chelly National Monument are thousands of archaeological sites. Only 13 of the ancestral pueblo ruins have had to be stabilized, reinforced, or protected from degradation. Tours go over 24 miles on the canyon floor, with walls reaching over 600' high.
Among the many tours offered are trips to Kokopelli Cave, Petroglyph Rock, Ledge Ruin, Antelope House and Navajo Fortress. Travel by Unimog group, enclosed SUV, or open jeeps.
Tours range from three-hour trips to overnight adventures with traditional food and storytelling. (Must provide 2 weeks written notice)
